After having some coffee we headed out to the market by our place. It’s only open on Tuesdays and Friday so it is always packed! If you are in a hurry it can be quite annoying, but if you are not–and you shouldn’t be if you are going to a market–it is a lot of fun and gives you an excuse to look and linger as you walk. On our way we bought some fruit for the kids to keep them distracted in their strollers while we shopped. Felicia and I bought some tights for us and the girls, and Richard and I bought a couple new scarves! Clothing and accessories can be cheaper at the markets and they have more variety than stores … and we can’t forget that the experience is much more fun!
After showing Felicia and Andy the market we stopped at the grocery store for some supplies and headed back home for a quick lunch before Felicia and Andy took off for their sight seeing. Today they are taking the metro to the Louvre, walking around there, and then strolling up through the Champs Elysée to the Arc de Triomphe. It’s such a beautiful day (and the weather should be great the whole time they are here) so they should have a great walk ahead of them. Hope you have fun, guys!
